Would Sheltercare cover a kitten with tapeworms?

I adopted a kitten from a shelter today and we realized she has really bad tapeworms, we're taking her to the vet tomorrow to get treated. But when I adopted her they gave me 30 days of Sheltercare insurance for free and I was wondering if we could possibly get the treatment covered through them or if they'd claim she got it in the shelter and refuse?
