Is God real, or is he imaginary?

There is no evidence for any god and it is easy to disprove the Bible god. That puts gods in the same category as leprechauns and bugbears. We use evidence and logic when deciding everything else and then are told that god alone must be believed in by faith alone because a book that is clearly made up fairytales says he's real. That stinks of a sham, doesn't it?
