Philosophers: Is Human Love Infallible?

Human love is either selfishness or instinctive. quick explanation: selfishness: one loves his friends because his friends provide 1. amusement and 2. defense against "enemies". One loves his girlfriend (boyfriend) because she (he) makes him happy. Instinctive: parents love their children because it's an instinct without which a child would not survive and thus the specie would disappear.
