Should the South China sea be renamed as East Vietnam Sea in order to avoid confusion over Spratly islands?

Most of the Chinese are so confused over the sovereignty of the islands that they think that any landmass that has any connection with the word "China" should be under Chinese sovereignty. Paracels and Spartly Islands are more near to Vietnam than they are to China. Will this be a nice idea to rename the South China sea as East Vietnam Sea and end the confusion that prevails among the Chinese?
