How many times can i use the same sponge applicator for foundation ?

Okay so i'm new to foundations and i bought this l'oreal paris infallible foundation in liquid not the brush one and i'll use sponge applicator but imagine i use it today can i re-use the same sponge ? they are expensive ! like 1.oo $ a pair. Here at honduras.
